IMAPP is a yearly lightfestival that evolves around one of the biggest buildings on the planet: Bucharest Parliament. This huge building is projected with roughly 70 enormous beamers to display the biggest mapping contest in the world. In 2018 we participated in this contest with an animation called Native. NATIVE is a triptych about the core values of the Romanian people and what it is that connects them. We used animals that are native to Romania to represent each color of the romanian flag, which was the theme of this years edition.
The project production took two months (days and regularly nights) from start to finish.
This projection mapping has won the jury award at the 5th iMapp Bucharest Edition.
